9:45 p.m.  85 degrees, blast furnace wind.  I ran with a heightened sense of hearing, listening for the clicks or whooshes of high volume sprinklers.  At least every mile I stopped and soaked myself from head to toe.  So surprisingly, this run was somewhat pleasant.  I came home and had a zero hot water shower and chocolate shake to recover.  It was quite an effort to get out the door, but I'm glad I went.  I think the sprinklers shorted out my butt light.

Totally worth the chocolate shake at the finish. :)

Nicely done. RIP butt light.

Butt light? Good job getting out. Maybe I'll join you for a one year anniversary run after Hobble. Sooner would be awesome though:) You're doing Hobble right? I'm still planning on it, but will rule it out as it gets closer if I need to. The end goal is Huntsville for me.

Nice. I've had runs like that. One desperate time I was bent down taking a drink from someone's sprinklers and the homeowner came out and asked me what I was doing.... He seemed irritated and I seemed awkward.
