Maybe this run wasn't so smart.  After taking a week of "active" recovery at scout camp, I was eager to hit the road this morning.  Despite bedtime around 1, I woke up on my own at 6.  Ate some oatmeal and headed out to survey the damage on my broke-down trailer.  I got there in 3 miles, and headed up to BST, and ran home on north Davis Blvd.  The dry creek in north Bntfl. is dry once more.  My foot hurt a bit, but it wasn't much of an issue on the run.  Now, 8 hours later I'm limping around like an 80 year old man.

Time for a double dose of vitamin I-- ice and ibuprofen.

Sorry to hear about that 80 yr old man jumping on your back! Hope the vitamins, ice, and meds help you recover quick!

Maybe I don't want to do a Rangnar Ultra. Do you know if I can register in person for the Centerville 5k next weekend? What's your estimate for the amount of runners?

Thanks, Tom. Mike, you can register on the morning of the race. I think there are around 500 runners. There is a hill shortly after the start, and it thins out the field rather quickly.

Bummer about your foot. I hope the vitamin I helps.

Wow, 500, that's a decent sized race.
