At 8 p.m., my wife found me in the closet staring at my training plan.  Then she talked me out of going for a 7 miler.  I designed built-in cabinets and played with Jack instead.  I'm still recovering from Sunday's long run.  So there it is; my first dropped workout.

After a hard race and a long run you need to have a rest day. You made the right decision. You will get more from the rest than you would have from a 7 miler.

You were right, Andy. A day off was a good thing.

I'm finding myself dropping more and more of those lately. Can't get in the groove. You're weekly miles have been impressive.

I think it is time for you to step out of the closet Kam. All kidding aside I hope you can get over your cold quickly. They definately put a damper on running.
