7:30 am  Even three hours later I struggle to remember what shoes I wore.  I haven't run in crocs for a while.  Maybe that's the problem.  Perhaps I need some new shoes.  Scratch that.  Definitely I need some new shoes so I have some ready to go for the marathon in a month.

You call it a plateau, I call it consistent weekly miles. I sure do enjoy reading about how you involve your family with your running, which I think is all part of trying to find that balance that can be so elusive when training for something big. Are you doing TOU?

Neasts, I had the same thought, I just typed the glass half empty version. I'm running Huntsville on the 28th. I guess I'll find out what 3 months of consistency gets me, compared to last year's race specific, goal oriented training, complete with runs exceeding 20 miles and big workouts.

I enjoy whatever level of involvement I can coax my kids into having with running. How is that for awkward sentence construction?

You may not break 3:00 with this round of training, but you should hit a solid BQ time, and I bet you've enjoyed your summer a bit more than last year. I know I enjoyed your DesNews pacing duties. I'm looking forward to your Huntsville results.

Your coming tomarrow right?

Yes, any. Pm me your phone number. My son can drive us up 14 miles at 6 am. Meet at subway?
