I got out in the morning for a change.  While I shivering in my bedroom, I debated over long or short sleeves.  Fortunately, I chose short.  It was cool out, but definitely not cold enough for long.  I ran to LPT via Parrish.  Nobody attempted to run me over for a change.  My legs felt pretty dead.  I gotta get rid of this cold all the way, I guess.  I got home in time to drop my daughter and her friends off at Liberty Park for the region tennis tournament.  I noted the new wood chips.

Nice running

For me 50F is the indicator - below 50 long sleeves. Excepting whether or not the sun is out, the wind is blowing, etc.

good job noting the new wood chips. bright and shiny, eh?

Nice run, even if you felt a little dead. It might take some time to get there even with a cold. What race are you planning for next?

To make a short answer long, 3+ years ago, my sister and I had a throw-down, winner take all race at the desnews 10k. I beat her quite soundly, and have spent the last 3 years trying to live up to that 10k time. My next race is the SDRC turkey 10k on Thanksgiving morning. I'm going to try to challenge that aided pr on an honest course.

the 10k is tough - kind of the 800 meter of distance running.

Always nice to complete a run without having to dodge any cars. I'll be looking for a PR on a Turkey Run this year too. Only 5k for me though.
